that doesn't sound like any Minnesotan i know. they're south of the border Canadians. they're kind, gentle, patient, and unwilling to confront the atrocities done in their name by the federal against the indigenous people. they will feed you, love you, and spend a weekend outdoors with you. but once you have initiated combat, you are in combat with them. there is no running away, there is no escaping. you must simply receive your thumping.

We, uh, struggle to leave in a timely manner. Like, famously. Why would we get buffs to fleeing?

There's someone who goes by "IRL Loading Screens" who makes these. They're on reddit, X, IG, etc.
I try to save them when I see them, however I think that was the last one in my "memes for lemmy" folder for the time being.
