These fucks are going to price us all out of electrifying our homes and apartments.
That said, the published findings are just an estimate — and that estimate relies on a lot of estimates.

I can mow my lawn with less than 150 watt-hours. The fact that a 60 second conversation with ChatGPT can surpass that is alarming.
Weird, Deepseek runs on a little mini PC.
- To be fair, you need to spend a machine that's a bit beefier than a mini PC to run full DeepSeek, but yeah it's very much consumer grade hardware we're talking about.

- The good news is that the US simply doesn't have grid capacity to deploy this stuff at that scale. Meanwhile, in China new capacity is being built pretty much entirely with renewables.
