This is what happens when you tolerate intolerance. It's a self fulfilling prophecy.

It tripled compared to the last communal elections 5 years ago. Not compared to the federal elections in February (16.8%). Actually "no change since the start of the year" would be more accurate.

Yeah, but we must not forget that especially the right-wing AfD has decisive support from foreign state actors, namely Russia and China.
That would be even more reason to oppose them rather than normalising them and their vile ideology. But guess what's happening.
