Fascinating. You know, they seem to be really up on this technology at the Steamship Arabia museum in Kansas City {midwest US}. They have anoxia rooms, in their research facilities, for preserving thousands of leather and other organics excavated from an low oxygen environment, i.e., the buried steamship Arabia.
