I remember the airplane trousers that were the height of fashion back then
It seems like overnight everyone decided the wide leg hip huggers were back in style. And I remember someone telling me 25 years ago that I should keep mine so this wasn’t entirely unexpected.
- Omg are hip huggers and flares finally coming back? That’s amazing news!! I fucking hate wearing high waist pants and in the last few years that’s basically all one can find. Same with skinny pants. They are so fucking uncomfortable. I literally cannot tolerate them (autistic sensitivity for the win..)
- The idea that you'll have the same waist width 25 years later is pretty funny for how naive it is.
  Anyway, Nu Metal seems to be popular again, which is neat.
  
  All my clothes were 3 sizes too big back then and I lost quite a bit of weight recently so chances are, I'd fit.

- The joke is about the date. If you're not from the US it might be a miss - I'm not sure how significantly 9/11/2001 is remembered outside of the states.
