I’d never considered this before, but I got a batch of screens that includes steel and copper (I’ve always used copper), and I’m wondering what’s the difference? Is there a benefit to either? Thanks!

I use glass screens. It's like a little glass jack that prevents crap from going down the pipe.
Ooh, I’ve never heard of those. Thanks!
Inhaling copper fumes (copper oxides) released at high temperatures can be a health risk. So just to be careful I'd use the steel screens which are less reactive.
Steel would last longer and not taste as bad. I prefer the steel disc's over screens. They clog quickly, but basically last forever.
I haven’t used a screen in 30-ought years. Turns out that you don’t really need it. It makes your weed taste like shit. Brass or steel it doesn’t matter.
Makes it a lot easier to clean and also to burn evenly. I use stainless steel screens like this and I don't taste anything other than green.
I don’t know what you’re smoking out of that adding an extra thing to clean makes it easier somehow, but I’ve been smoking weed a long time. There’s a very good reason I stopped using screens.
And maybe you can’t taste it, but I certainly could
