  • I can see why the governor didn't do it, but the part I don't get is - why not do it?

    I mean, the justice system continues being a joke.

    • A bunch of these sheriffs committed their crimes since the last election. How were voters supposed to hold them accountable for things they hadn't done yet? Why is Beshear allowing these known criminals to keep exercising official power over these voters until the next election?

    • Because if neither "side" is going to stand by democracy, why are we even bothering with the charade?

      It's shitty, but, like you said, I get it. He's also not wrong.
