Just a moment...
The new California law is aimed at addressing what the Federal Communications Commission has called a “troubling jump” in TV ad noise complaints, fueled by streamers airing commercials louder than the shows and movies they accompany. It’s modeled off a federal law passed in 2010 that caps ad volumes on cable and broadcast TV, but doesn’t apply to streaming services.
now do the brainwashing gas pumps.. tvs in gas pumps are now making it unsafe as I'm forced to step 10 feet away to avoid hearing garbage and I can't monitor the actual pump anymore.
If you randomly press all those buttons immediately around the screen, one usually mutes it. I do this every time, for myself and the next person to come through
that button will eventually be moved, or disabled. I'll just vacate the area and let the pump do its thing unmonitored. I'm getting sick of workarounds, then they get patched, more workarounds..
same reason why I don't 'lease' (aka get a free phone) from mobile carriers. I will buy outright. I'm tired of playing their crap game
