Why am I seeing tons of posts that are years old showing up when sorting by "hot"?
Why are these super old posts "hot" all of a sudden?

17It ain't fixed on 18.1. Still happening.
9perhaps these old items are being resurfaced on 0.17, upvoted by users on those instances, then through the new activity on the posts ending up in 'hot' on other instances

9IDK, but it took me a good 30s touching the posts in your screenshot trying to figure out wth was happening.
4That's one reason I don't like any view that loads the full picture, I just like to see the thumbnail then decide if I want to see the whole thing.

Are you using wefwef? Maybe try Memmy as I found the ordering of posts varies a lot from app to app
