Sadly the formatting in this post gave me terminal cancer. As my final act, I've fixed the formatting. OP, please, only you can save the others. Fix the post formatting.
No, there's no line breaks at all in the timing tower:
It looks similar in Jerboa, Liftoff, and web-ui. If you add a period after each number you'll turn the timing tower into an ordered list which looks pretty good. I added the bold times while I was at it, but it's the line breaks that matter.
Edit: I got distracted when writing this and it looks like you fixed it a different way between when I started and finished. It looks great now. Thanks for posting the timings and fixing up the formatting to look good.
Perez needs to be replaced by literally any other driver. It’s almost like Red Bull are nervous of putting someone too competitive in the same car as Max.
If the Red Bull cars stay dominant over the next few years, I'd love a competitive driver 2 to create the "Hamilton-Rosberg" situation not only for the drama but to potentially make the driver's championship an actual race.
I'm honestly hoping that Danny Ric doesn't replace Perez. Let it be Yuki, but I don't want to see Danny get destroyed by Max again. I don't think that he has enough to offer to create a situation like Rosberg to Hamilton.
Did DR get utterly destroyed by Verstappen though?
Max beat him in the 2018 standings but Ricciardo got very unlucky with reliability that year. He had 8 DNFs, compared to 4 from Verstappen, 6 of which were down to the car rather than him.
Verstappen decisively beat him in qualifying but, with an average gap of just over a tenth, its not the embarrassment that it first appears.
Do I think Ricciardo can beat Verstappen? No, probably not. That said, he is the only driver to have beaten Max in equal machinery and they both have a preference for reactive front ends. With Max demanding an incredibly twitchy car, RB need a second driver that can reliably place their car high in the order. Especially since they may actually have to fight for the championship in 24 and 25.
Checo has got be close to being gone at this point. Bring in DR for the remainder of 23. Maybe this shuffle would allow Indycar's Alex Palou to come across the pond.
I dont see him being shuffled out this season unless Ricciardo absolutely knocks it out of the park at the pirelli test. I think it's more likely that he replaces De Vries so that they can compare DR and Yuki for the RB seat next season
