Titanium instead of aluminum or carbon: using this advanced material, the Vello Sub Titan is set to become one of the lightest e-cargo bikes on the market and is available in a total of four different versions.
It's a wonderful build that i think is really good value considering the materials used. I ride a hsd myself and have been considering this as the upgrade now that I'm 20k in miles in.
Might be worth keeping the bike you already have if there's nothing irreparably wrong with it though. Tern makes great stuff from what I've heard, wish I could afford one of their ebikes. Kind of want one of their folding bikes too...
That said, yeah, I can't afford this bike either. Looks nice though!
I would, however the suspension is quite a pain here in the UK to get replaced or to have service by any of the suntour dealers. I'm not very keen on the andros system. And i would love to have a dual battery, as i take the bike touring/camping with my dog so the additional battery helps a lot by being installed already. Otherwise the HSD is superb bike!
The bike may be able to carry 210kg - but can you still move it - and even more importantly: move it safely? I remember that guy who tried to move from one student flat to another with his fridge in a trailer on his bike. First, he needed help to get up on the bridge, and then he had an accident on the way down because he gained too much speed and his brakes could not handle it.
