I was really hoping for vertical farming to take off
It still probably will. It uses significantly less water than traditional farming methods. That will be a huge factor in the coming years
The same is true of controlled environment agriculture but without the extra electricity need. I wish that (hydroponic greenhouses) would get more of the limelight.
