What is the role of the corrugated paper? What happens if standard wicks are used?
2My guess is to have the flame dispersed over the entire candle so as to make it much more difficult to blow out. Would also make it hotter for use as a field stove or human warmer.
1The corrugated paper is cheap, has vertical channels on the inside, and its quantity creates a large area flame. Standard wicks would only produce a small flame with little heat.
