    "Offering something of value to a public official to not perform a required duty may raise legal issues for a person doing so," Thomas said.

    • I see no reason why it shouldn’t.

    • It's possible that they could introduce it after a motion to submit new evidence, though the defense's attempts to stop it from being introduced is a foregone conclusion.
