Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny located in Arctic prison 3 weeks after contact with him lost
Alexei Navalny had been located at a prison colony above the Arctic Circle, but his lawyers said they had not been able to reach him since December 6.
Genuinely curious who'll be killed off first - him or Putin.
38ReplyPutin's immensely popular both domestically and in the Global South. Navalny is popular in the West and in some parts of Russia.
With the rise of the Global South, my money is on Putin keeping it together.
12Replydomestic numbers spoofed, when anti-putin riots occur frequently and are brutallt supressed it's hard to say it's 'immense'
21ReplySaying that Navalny is popular in some parts of Russia is greatly overstating things.

I think Putin. I mean, killing Navalny or keeping him in that place is basically the same effort and risk for the Kremlin. Maybe is safer to leave him there, tbh

this guy is a neo-Nazi, it was so annoying to see westoids praising him years ago
10ReplyIt's obviously for the greater good of the motherland!
10ReplyYou know you don't need to cosplay that hard and you still do. That'sa dedication.

I'm guessing westerners are so obsessed with Navalny because of their shared values. What the west is currently doing in Gaza is probably the only thing that keeps him going in these tough times.

8ReplyDid they actually move him to the North Pole or are they having fun with the word "Arctic"?
7ReplyThe new place they moved him to is north of the Arctic Circle so it's accurate.

7ReplyGreat, let's keep it that way. Sic semper Nazis
6Replyand nothing of value was lost
4ReplyWomp womp
4ReplyTFW crime doesn't pay
-8Replytechnically true actually as putin does make the laws, so in his eyes it's criminal to run against him
4ReplyI don't get it. You're a socialist, sure, and the USSR was socialist, but you think they're socialist now? You think that Putin is a socialist. Poor fool.
-5ReplyIf it’s Putin versus the man who calls immigrants pests, I’m choosing Putin
4ReplyNavalny is a racist son of a removed, doesn't deserve anyone's pity. Of all the people who hate Putin, liberals really support the worst one
