I've used versions of that wireless keyboard/trackpad combo and they've all been pretty dissapointing for connection quality, input accuracy, and longevity. I hope his model is hardwired in and works better, or that he's got spares.

Is this a joke? You can literally just splice together some Ethernet cables and all the devices will work unless there’s some specific configuration on the router to prevent that.

Well maybe not, seems like CSMA/CD (used for the above mentioned connectivity) is not as commonly implemented as it once was.
