attempting to compare the odiferus orange to Eugene Debs is a pretty bold move there, dontchathink?
- I do have to keep reminding myself of Debs when people say things like “candidates convicted of felonies should be removed from the ballot”, though.
- People who are comparable (in the sense that they can be compared) don't need to be comparable (in the sense that they're similar).
If you ever find yourself near Terre Haute, Indiana, make your way to the Eugene V. Debs museum, one of the few highlights of this town. If you want an endorsement, Bernie Sanders went out of his way to visit when campaigning in 2016.
