Nineteen Tasmanians banned from public native forestry estate after logging protests | ABC News
19 Tasmanians have received indefinite bans from entering any of the state's public native forestry estate — an area covering 812,000 hectares.
It follows protests against native logging near Takayna/Tarkine, but most of the protesters live locally, and say the bans will impact their lives.
Interesting. I reckon the protestors have a good case with the supreme court on that one. For a single protest in a specific area, it definitely seems like over-reach for every state forrest to be included.
In the mean time they should go down to the issuers of the order and protest there instead.
