The only thing that happened here is that Wilders is not going to be the MP. His party might still have a lot of influence, depending on whether they are able to form a coalition (in some form). And his party is not internally democratic, they just have to do what he says. So if this happens, Wilders might be very influential. Not being the MP, at the same time, might be beneficial for Wilders as it allows him to be in parliament and keep saying his racist stuff and acting like everything bad that happens is someone else's fault. So, this might not be such good news as it seems.

6That is true. I try to stay optimistic. I think they will never really change their minds probably, no matter what happens. But they might lose interest at some point and stop voting. Maybe when they get confronted with real issues in their lifes instead of the imaginary ones they read about on Facebook.

16Hm ich bin da so ein bisschen gespalten in der Sache. Zum einen ist es gut dass die Koalitionsgespräche gescheitert sind und der Typ quasi raus ist. Schlecht ist aber dass man sich mit anderen konservativen und Fascho-Parteien auf "Grundzüge" geeinigt hat. Also wirds da ja quasi dann doch eine Fascho-Regierung werden.

In einem anderen Thread meinte jemand, die PVV wäre in Umfragen bei 50%. Wilders würde sich bei einer Neuwahl also deutlich verbessern.
Edit: Habe mal selbst nachgeguckt, und aktuelle Umfragen sehen die PVV bei 31%. Das wären 7% mehr als bei der letzten Wahl, aber keine 50%.
4Aus dem Artikel in der Tagesschau habe ich außerdem entnommen, dass er bei einer außerparlamentarischen Regierung mit seiner deutlichen Mehrheit im Prinzip regieren könnte, ohne tatsächliche Verantwortung zu tragen. Da wird dann einfach irgendein Strohmann Premier und er regiert mehr oder weniger trotzdem über die Mehrheit im Parlament.
10Diese Geschichte höre ich heute leider nicht zum ersten Mal. Geschichte wiederholt sich wohl doch.
