Community Rules

`Warning: Strict compliance with all the rules is imperative. Failure to read and adhere to them will not be tolerated. Violations may result in immediate removal of your content and a permanent ban from the community.`

Rules:

Rule 1: Accurate Sourcing:

Share world news articles and news video reports from reliable sources and verify information before posting.

[1.1] Submissions must be links to news articles or news/report video.

[1.2] The source must either be the original website or an archive of the original.

[1.3] No paywalls: Domains which require the user to purchase a subscription or register an account in order to read the full article are not allowed.

[1.4] Submissions may not be older than 14 days.

[1.5] The submission’s title may not be editorialized.

[1.6] Self-posts and meta-posts without moderator approval are not allowed.

[1.7] Articles are not required to solely focus on politics; other world news topics are also welcome.

[1.8] You can include an excerpt from the original article in the 'Body' field, limited to 50% of the full article.

Rule 2: Objective Presentation:

Present news objectively, without personal bias or editorialization.

Rule 3: Respectful Engagement:

No Bigotry, Hate Speech, Harassment, Propaganda, or Discrimination. Maintain a respectful and inclusive community by refraining from engaging in hate speech, including racism, Islamophobia, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, or any form of discrimination targeting individuals based on their religion, race, ethnicity, or belief system. This includes personal attacks, promotion of harmful ideologies, or spreading divisive content. Violations of this rule will result in content removal, and permanent bans. Keep it civil!

Rule 4: Only articles, videos, and sound clips are accepted as submissions:

We do not allow solicitations from users (such as petitions, polls, or requests for money), personal blogs, satire, advertisements, conspiracy theories, images, debunked/fabricated content, social media content (including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, etc.), Wikis, memes, or political advertisements.

Rule 5: Titles of posts must accurately reflect the headline and/or sub-header of the content:

Submissions should have titles that directly replicate the exact wording of the article's headline, and if desired, may include the subtitle or subhead.

Rule 6: Content Quality: Submissions must be of good quality.

Rule 7: No Agendaposting.

Rule 8: No Spamming.

Rule 9: English Articles Only.

Rule 10: No World News:

Only articles about events within the US or related to the US internal news.

Rule 11: No repost of same link.

Rule 12: Content will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is at the discretion of the moderators.

Rule 13: No Mod Harassment or Abusive Messages:

Our dedicated mods invest significant time and effort to provide you with valuable content and maintain a safe and constructive community. We kindly request that you refrain from sending abusive messages or engaging in any form of harassment towards them.

Rule 14: Moderators Discretion:

The moderators retain the right to remove any content, ban users/bots if deemed necessary, and handle warnings, and the removal of comments or posts at their sole discretion. Repeated violations of our rules may result in a permanent ban from the community. The moderators will always operate in good faith but maintain full autonomy and authority to ban users for any duration of time, with or without prior warning, based on their assessment of user actions across all of the federated networks.
