Lying is such a poor choice of words. It’s not intentionally deceiving anyone. It just continues to babble as coherently as it can, its just so impressive to some people that they don’t realize there’s no tiny machine person typing away on the other end.
21It's lying by proxy because the ones who know better are letting it answer, and thus lie, for them.

Why do official companies or governments or anything with authority keep using ai chatbots? They've already got a bad track record it's inexplicable that anyone would think that theirs is somehow exempt.
