  • Brazil, Cronos and La Haine are standouts for me.

    My favourites of theirs are Kurosawa's samurai films and Kaneto Shindo's Onibaba and Kuroneko. I only have them on DVD (I'm skipping the Blu-ray for. 4k) but they are beautifully designed boxes as well as great films.
