Woke up early to watch both FP's, fell asleep halfway through FP1 and woke up at the end of FP2. Oof.
3ReplyHow was the bonus sleep?
2ReplyPretty good 😎
Singapore FP's are going to be miserable though, lol. They're an hour earlier in the morning.

Really liking Luca Filippi on the F1TV.
3ReplyHaven't watched a test session in forever. Hopefully once I am done moving into my new house I have time to catch one again.
2ReplyPerez out to prove himself, again.
2ReplyLooked like a big miscalculation on his part.

Hamilton has the lap record 1:18.something.
2ReplyRace lap record and overall track lap record are different. Lewis was in qualifying, Rubens was in a race.

So what happened with Stroll? Had to jump off for other stuff. Was it the gearbox or electronics?

I know nothing about f1, but I am curious. What’s a speed trap? Cops on the side using the radar to pull them over?
1ReplyIt's a point where they measure the speed of the cars. So in essence the the same as road speed trap, but no one will pull you over for going fast.
2ReplyAh, thank you!

GP: Did you learn anything?
Max: No, not really.
GP: Well done.
Edit: Sounds to me like Max insisted on going out for a final few laps after the red flag, claiming he'd learn from it. GP just wanted to call it a day.
