I was wondering how long it would take the Russian government to get to Telegram's Russian owners...
Hopefully signal starts to pick up the slack.

I don't understand using telegram to begin with
- It has some features specifically for larger groups/communities that signal doesn't have. Hopefully signal can fill that gap.
this happened as a result of calls for the blocking of the messenger itself in Ukraine
Ok, but who did that?
They should setup their own Matrix server and not rely on 3rd parties like that.
