The Fallout show was so much fun. Looking forward to the next season.
- The show also explains how you can have fat guys in a vault. That one dude is clearly a "feeder".

- I have seen so many people say it's good but I watched it with my wife and at around episode 3 she described it as aggressively mid which I heavily agree with and we stopped watching. Felt like the writers of Fallout 4 were involved and were told to tone down the excitement. Does it get like a lot better later in the season or are our tastes just different?

  Wow that's a damning statement, given how atrociously written Fallout 4 was.
  
  seeing as the first 3 episodes barely get into more than character introduction I'd say give it a bit more time
  
  It has a couple of very decent episodes, but as someone who is a big Fallout fan the show seems pretty underwhelming. It's like they wanted to lean into the grim darkness of the setting, so they decided to eliminate whatever vestiges of civilization there might have been (the Brotherhood of Steel being in a massive downward spiral as an organization and the whole Shady Sands things seemed like a copout for budget and storytellilng purposes). Not saying Fallout isn't a bleak setting, but it's definitely got more of an oddball humor to it that is generally pervasive through the setting, instead of the sprinkle of it we got throughout the show. I guess what I'm saying is that with something like this you have to really nail the tone, and they just sorta missed the mark on it.

As soon as I saw this scene, I immediately thought of Lemmy users and how it would speak to them. So, not surprised to see this posted here and getting some love.

- That's why you replace that with cocaine. Disclaimer: don't do it, just stay with coffee do exercise instead, get some hobbies, find another job, get some long vacation.
  
  That hobby thing is a two sided sword. I have 4 hobbies plus my family, friends and the gym. And I have not enough time for them. It actually adds to my stress level nowadays, because I want to do all of them and just can't.

I would say that this guy is my spirit animal except that during some of his other scenes, he very much acted in a way contrary to what I believe I would have done.
I don't want to say any more since the show is still new and I don't want to ruin anything for anyone.
But this line, yes. Very yes. Most of my jobs have been like this. It's just like, I'm only here because they pay me to be. I only do what I need to in order to not get fired.

  Why are so many people adamant on seeing someone being "enthusiastic" and "high-energy"? Don't they realize how exhausting it is to maintain that for more than an hour?

Why can't we ever have just like a salad? Loved seeing this guy, brought back nacho libre nostalgia and he knocked the role out of the park. I actually typically despise reboots/remakes etc but this show was really fun

Is the character supposed to be a midget? I'm watching the show and it's a bit jarring to see how short the character is. Would have been better to have casted someone taller and put the actor as a background character.
- First, please don't use that term. It's derived from "midge", meaning a small fly, and is very insulting. Secondly, the actor is 4'11, an inch too tall to qualify as having dwarfism, and it's fucked up to say that short people should be relegated to being background characters. Are you Irken, by any chance?

  Buy the character is like an NPC in the show. They should have just casted some normal size person.
- The height is not a problem at all. I'd say it's even better to have a shorter actor. We meet him as a little coward and then it grows (as a character) thru the events.
  Did you say "Frodo is too short to be the main character" too?
  
  The Lord of the rings movies would have been better if the hobbits were just regular humans like the rest of them.
