Edit: Here is proof that "dunking" is their term for organised brigading, where a hexbear member is posting a comment in another instance on hexbear "if you wanna dunk".

I mean, did anyone doubt that? There was a post about the Ukranian war not long ago where almost every single comment belonged to hexbear users, but nah, they weren't brigading at all, it's just a coincidence that they were the only ones who had anything to say.

Is there a way to just block hexbear? Tankie nonsense almost kept me from trying Lemmy at all, and for the longest time, it’s been good. But recently it’s just tankies everywhere and I’m so over them.

The sad truth is that unlike reddit, Lemmy is seen as "too small" and "not worth astroturfing".

This is one brand of their typical users. The sooner everyone realizes they have nothing to offer, the better. Everyone needs to defed with hexbear.

If your implying that the feds are using funding to scan lemmy and list certain profiles then i am not worried. Anarchism is a genuine political stance and has been since the ancient greek. I am also a full on pacifist so good luck finding non existing dirt on me. I am no threat.
