Why is it called motorboating?
Why is it called motorboating?
I'm not a native English speaker, but I do get most of the slangs. Still, this one got me puzzled 🤔... I really can't see any relation to motors or boats in this.
Because it sounds like a motor boat.
55ReplyReally? I've never been on a motor boat, I wouldn't know.
At least that explains why I couldn't find logic behind the slang.
16ReplyNot really, it's just a fun expression. Kinda sounds like a propeller in the water.

Cos you go brrrrrrrrrrrr
14ReplyBecause internal combustion engine shipping sounds ridiculous
13ReplyTwo stroke engine floatation if I may
6ReplyYeah, two strokes sounds about right :/

In addition to what others have said, observe that as a motorboat pushes through the water it creates a wake, a pair of waves that curve up and away from the boat.
7ReplyMhm... yeah, you could do waves on breasts I guess... if they're big enough, lol 😂.

Ok so what is that mean? I am not familiar with the slang at all? Also I suppose I need to point out I am not native too.
4ReplyThe act of placing one's head between a woman's breasts and making the sound of a motorboat with one's lips whilst moving the head from side to side.

The way the person's head is moving.
-1ReplyHm, also kinda makes sense.
