Trump says he expects indictment in election probe
Mr Trump posted that he was told to report to a grand jury, "which almost always means an Arrest".
Please!
So do we all.
Is he just saying this for attention, or is there any proof?
I would expect it too obviously. Just looks like the typical Trump play... "LOOK AT ME PLEASE"
He seems to be capitalizing on the GA supreme court refusing to stop the Fulton county probe into his election shenanigans and is whipping his base into a frenzy to raise money. He may or may not know that an indictment is actually coming but in the meantime will use the event to continue to fleece the MAGA crowd
It's so incredibly frustrating. One of the main reasons Trump rose to popularity was his campaigning against D.C. ineptitude and corruption. Drain the swamp and all of that. And now we have the perfect encapsulation of why those issues exist. He is the ineptitude and corruption. But the people who are supposedly railing against that are embracing him without wavering. Now they're about to nominate someone who had a laundry list of indictments.
If you can't hold yourselves accountable how could you ever expect to hold others accountable? It doesn't work like that. The GOP is broken, but perhaps more concerning are the supposed independents who for one reason or another just don't seem to care.
This is the precursor to him being charged for his January 6th coup attempt.
He was also offered to appear in front of the January 6th coup attempt grand jury. He declined.
By the end of July or early August, Trump will be facing another 100+ federal charges.
This is not the state charges coming from GA in mid August.
