Seems a bit harsh to neuter the !bapcsalescanada@lemmy.ca community for almost a month because of an automated action?
Not exactly its fault if it just caught and mirrored some spam from Reddit..

3With that name, it seems its entire purpose was just to spam advertisements from Reddit.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
-3I don't see a good solution to this, either the bot reposts the sales on a timely manner before you miss them, or you get people to manually post the sales. However with the current volume of users here I don't see the second option equaling or surpassing Reddit in terms of usefulness.
