TIL that the year before Spinal Tap was released, British comedians made their own mockumentary about a spoof heavy metal band called Bad News

Not just "British comedians". It's most of The Young Ones plus French and Saunders.

It was good. This is the first time I've seen it mentioned since my buddy and I saw it on MuchMusic back in the late '80s or early '90s.

I’d like to see that.
