Ich dachte früher immer das man richtiger Profi sein muss um in der IT zu Arbeiten und das mein Persönliches Können alles "normal" ist.
Jetzt Arbeite ich selbst in der IT und wundere mich über garnichts mehr...
Von der Fähigkeit mal 2m geradeaus, geschweige denn mitzudenken will ich garnicht anfangen...
Ich arbeite in der Webentwicklung und es ist Standard, dass fast jeder nur Sachen zusammenklebt ohne zu verstehen, was sie wirklich tun.
Wehe die eigene Entwicklungsumgebung hat mal ein Problem und man muss eine Fehlermeldung lesen...da sind die meisten schon raus.
Das ist ziemlich kacke, wenn man keine Ahnung hat wie man den Datenbankserver starten kann oder was DNS ist...aber hey, immerhin werd' ich so nicht arbeitslos.
Mach nicht den Fehler und publishe irgendwelche Bibliotheken, die du mal für deine Firma gebaut hast auf GitHub. Dann darfst du dich von Leuten anschreien lassen die keine Ahnung haben und mit deiner gratis Arbeit unzufrieden sind.
Etliche; zuletzt waren es die Zugriffsrechte eines Unterordners auf unserem Netzlaufwerk: Geht nicht, man kann nur die "ersten Ordner" bearbeiten, keine Unterordner.
Auf Windows ist das aber auch echt ein Krampf, wenn man sich nicht damit auskennt. Ich hab letztens nach 10 Minuten aufgegeben, weil die Berechtigungen richtig aussahen und nicht funktioniert haben.
Unter Linux is das ein chmod -R und entweder funktioniert es oder wirft einen Fehler.
Wenn ich im IT-Support arbeiten würde und meinen Job hassen würde, würde ich es auch erstmal mit "technisch nicht möglich!" probieren. Könnte ja klappen und dann ist mehr Zeit um lustige Katzenvideos zu gucken.
