Voyager now connects directly to ALL Lemmy instances! If your Lemmy instance does not support CORS (using an old version of Lemmy), you will no longer be able to connect. Virtually all larger Lemmy instance have been upgraded with support for direct connect for Lemmy clients.
New features
New icon
Thanks very much to @fer0n for our wonderful new logo! This logo was chosen as part of our icon design contest. @fer0n also created a fantastic new splash screen for Voyager!
Want to get it? Remove and re-add the app to your homescreen. (Unfortunately, you will loose all settings + hidden posts)
Like the old icon? The old icon will continue to be displayed until you remove and reinstall Voyager to your homescreen.
Lemmios is an iOS native Lemmy app with design language heavily inspired by Apollo.
Why Lemmios?
So it's a Lemmy app, there's no need to talk about viewing posts or comments or compact mode or other basic things, but Lemmios does have some features that other apps don't have!
Rich notification system including watchers
Lemmios will give push notifications for replies and private messages, allowing you to leave the app while still remaining up to date! It also has watchers to notify you of new posts matching specific criteria so you never miss a post!
Widgets
Want to see how your last post did? Want to see posts from around Lemmy on your home screen? Lemmios has widgets for both of those!
Other features
Search directly from the top of the posts view just like in Apollo, usage without an account, and in-app
Today, like the past few days, we have had some downtime. Apparently some script kids are enjoying themselves by targeting our server (and others). Sorry for the inconvenience.
Most of these 'attacks' are targeted at the database, but some are more ddos-like and can be mitigated by using a CDN.
Some other Lemmy servers are using Cloudflare, so we know that works. Therefore we have chosen Cloudflare as CDN / DDOS protection platform for now. We will look into other options, but we needed something to be implemented asap.
For the other attacks, we are using them to investigate and implement measures like rate limiting etc.

I'm not sure this is the right community for this, but I want to announce my new project: Infinity for Lemmy.
Basically, this is a fork of the Infinity for Reddit application, modified to get it to work with Lemmy.
But I must remind you to temper your expectations as this project is still in its infancy. It has some basic features already in place, but thereâs a lot more to be accomplished.
âą Load comments
âą Handle subscriptions
âą Search for posts, users, or communities
âą Write posts or comments
âą Send private messages
âą And many more
So, while Infinity for Lemmy is in its current state not a feature-rich client, but itâs a promising start.
For those interested, hereâs the link to my git repositor
