Why do you use firefox?
  • I initially switched because I felt like it had better support for linux and specifically wayland. Then stayed for other features that are mostly mentioned in other comments.

Would you live in a rural area?
  • I already do, it might be a bit more challenging to make new friends, but also many upsides like less noisy and more relaxed living environment, usually more nature

Why do people still recommend Thinkpads for Linux when there are Linux-oriented manufacturers now?
  • They still do a good job with build quality and I use them for work. I also use framework 13 as my personal computer, it is great and I like it but it does not feel as premium as my work laptop. It is probably a trade off for modularity though

Request: Clicking feed to go back
  • I also miss this behaviour, one other thing is when I am at the feed and scrolled down the posts for a while, and when I tap the feed button again I expect it to go top (as if I tappes to the top bar). I think this is the behavior for most other ios apps so I always find myself doing that

[Fixed] Comments temporarily broken, being worked on
  • Also the more attacks there are the more vulnerabilities found and get fixed. I think in the long run it helps the platform to mature and be more stable.

I never went cinema, should I try it now ?
  • You should, it is nice! I suggest you go to a movie with friends so you can discuss the movie afterwards and get to enjoy it together.

    My little toaster
  • Looks so nice! I wonder if building a smaller pc have an effect on the total cost, does it come more expensive when you go with smaller case and mobo?

Be honest, do you still use reddit?
  • I don't. Since the beginning of this month, I only visited it 2 times where a Google search pointed out a post there, that is it. And even when it pop ups on the Google search result I tend to first check out other links.

    [ RELEASE CANDIDATE 1 ] | Mlem for Lemmy TestFlight | 1.0.0 (213)
  • Congrats and thanks to the team. It is already pretty good imo and I use it daily.

Only 1 single feature I would ask is the ability to fullscreen, zoom and interact with images. I think I saw an open issue about it on github already but I guess it won’t make it to the release
