Serious question: why is almost all of this animated rather than real?

  • I get that Lemmy is relatively new and lacking in content generally, but even the gentlefemdom subreddit was predominately drawings. Clearly this preference within the link for drawings over real people transcends Lemmy as a platform, and frankly that confuses me.
