Should Climate Protesters Be Less Annoying?
  • Not at all, we are getting desperate out here. Our margins for actions to lessen, stop and revert climate change are getting smaller by the minute. So we need to be very annoying.

“The Tragedy of the Commons”: how ecofascism was smuggled into mainstream thought - by Cory Doctorow
  • This topic is important to address because they are sure growing all around the world and they champion stuff that we obviously hate and want to destroy such as: colonialism, capitalism, white hetero-patriarchal structures of oppression and domination. So it is very important that we are ready to battle them wherever we see them.

What's the worst thing you've ever smelled?
  • A client that apparently didn't took a bath for a long long time. The person's smelled like piss, sweat and dirt. It was horrible. I don't know how I survived the encounter because the person wanted to talk forever. God bless I'm far away from that position now.

    Can a City Feed Itself?
  • Yes, but the city in question can not be a mega-city or conurbation that is really big(think New York metropolitan area or São Paulo metropolitan area), population would need to be more evenly distributed. Also you need to have an ring of agriculture around the cities, so it is important to build good infrastructure all-around so people can be comfortable in other places besides these very big cities.

Elon refusing to pay google for hosting could be behind the instability issues.
  • Yeah and he used tesla actions as a collateral. So if he is not able to make money to pay for the loans, he will lose control of Tesla. I´m savoring every moment that things are blowing up in his face. After this venture fails, he will probably still be rich, but surely not a billionaire anymore and i will vicariously enjoy his fall from billionaire extraordinaire to just a legacy common stock millionaire.

IAmA mods no longer willing to work for reddit for free
  • Well this is the bare minimum because if Reddit wants to have direct control over subreddits they ought to pay moderators. The fact they will still moderate is still a concession that i think they should rethink. Literally if Reddit wants control over communities let them deal with all the hassle of moderation. Sometimes stuff end and it does not need to be a gracious end.
