Yeah. I've seen the screenshots 😬
I use the Connect app to browse Lemmy and I didn't see such a setting. I'm guessing I have to do this on desktop. I haven't logged in through there since I signed up but I'll check it out, thanks.
Can't filter out non-English communities. On any given day, I could scroll through my feed and a third of them would be languages I can't read. I wish I could, but I can't.
It was one of those times when you already have something that's working for you just fine and it wasn't important enough to change it.
I was still using one of those til 2012. That's what I get for having an old car. I did upgrade to a mini disc player tho.
It must like it because she's not being shredded right now.
Yes, they will dry up eventually but not within a few minutes, that's just not true. My tip was meant for people who still plan to wash their dishes within a reasonable amount of time. I wouldn't be doing this myself if it wasn't useful.
Reduce air exposure and conserve water, especially with bowls and containers that are deeper than a dish.
If they finish their food. I don't like seeing food go to waste.
If you're not going to soak your dishes, at least splash some water on them and leave them upside down. The food bits won't harden as much and you won't have to scrub as hard.
For the past couple months, I've been having the sudden urge to play Factorio. I log onto Steam after being away for like a year and see that a couple old friends are playing Factorio. Then I see a post on Lemmy about Factorio's recent record breaking player count. Seems like everyone caught Factorio fever all at the same time.
I only buy physical for big games like FF7R, Elden Ring, Ragnarok, etc. I love how convenient digital copies are but damn does PSN try to squeeze you if you aren't patient enough to wait for a sale.
Does Shadow of the Colossus count? I didn't get very far in the game but I did enjoy the parts I did play of The Last Guardian.
Expanding photos that are badly cropped or have the wrong orientation. It has saved me hours of compositing or having to look for entirely new photos to use, which I hate.
I can finish in 5, 4 if I put in a little effort, 2 if I really need to.
On a browser, yes, but only for one sub because the community there is 1M+ and over here is 10 and no one has posted in 9 months.
I should not be sweating like this right now
I believe it was an interview where a guy tells a story about trying to get fit for a movie role so he hires a popular Hollywood fitness trainer. The guy tries to tell the trainer who he wants to look like but the trainer cuts him off and says "Don't tell me, I already know. Brad Pitt, Fight Club." The guys asks how did he know and the trainer says "That's what everyone asks for."
I thought it was the Ace Ventura 2 torture scene but it's not. Anyone know what I'm thinking of?
