if you ever traveled 1K miles by bus, would you recommend it?
  • The two times I've done it were overnight trips, leaving at about 9 and getting in about 7am. They were fine I suppose, I listened to music for a while then had a sleep. It was cheaper than a flight and as I lived nowhere near an airport was probably not much longer.

Is Hezbollah giving Netanyahu an excuse to attack?': Tunnel video sparks controversy in Lebanon
  • Like any military would do no matter what the country. Using the tunnels to move weapons literally makes them a legitimate military target. Perhaps you need to read up on the rules of war.

Is Hezbollah giving Netanyahu an excuse to attack?': Tunnel video sparks controversy in Lebanon
  • If the tunnels are used for military purposes then that is a reason to bomb them. That goes for any place. If they use a hospital as a weapons cache, that hospital becomes a legitimate target. Same if it is a mosque, a school etc. Using civilians as human shields is in itself a war crime.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem warns drivers, team bosses etc. that they could be punished more severely if they strongly criticise stewards
  • There is also a strong correlation between a sports referee, steward, umpire, whatever being unaccountable for their actions and really bad decisions frequently being made.

While abusing them is obviously not acceptable, stopping people involved in the sport from making any criticism of them, no matter how valid, is not a good way for a sport to be run.
