That's not much to go on but some general docs I've recently enjoyed are,
- The Contestant
- The Edge of Everything
- Sicko
- Queen of Speed
- Finke: There and Back
- Rubble Kings
Same.
I don't play often but I check in every few months for an update or new mods.
There a quite a few favourites over the years.
- Colin McRae Rally 2.0
- Live for Speed
- Hydrothunder
- Metropolis Street Racer
- Forza Motorsport 4
- Burnout 2
- Blur
- Wreckfest
- Gran Turismo 2
- Wave Race Blue Storm
- F-Zero X
- GRIP (and Rollcage 1 & 2)
- TT Isle of Man
- Dirt Rally 1 & 2
- Circuit Superstars
I'm not sure how I feel about mid-gen upgrades.
I'm all for something like the PS2/PS3 slim or Xbox 360/One S but a PS4/5 pro and One X just don't interest me.
I also kind of despise the whole smartphone upgrade path that is the norm nowadays so I really hope consoles don't continue the same way.
They got me! I couldn't resist for that price.
That's a lot of money for a generation that just isn't worth it.
Yeah I've read all the books up to The Vanished Man now. Initially I did chose them because I love the movie and every one so far has been great.
I finally finished The Vanished Man after 3 attempts at starting. The book was great but I just couldn't get myself to focus long enough to get in to it properly but it was a really good read.
Next is Slow Horses and I've managed to get stuck in straight away on this one. I really enjoy the TV series so looking forward even more to the books.
Spending hours online either on Phantasy Star Online or in the Dreamarena chat rooms.
Getting Shenmue and Shenmue II on launch days was a special time.
I love it and hate it.
The Long Dark
Survival game set in the cold Canadian wilderness. Most "survival" games are actually just boring crafting games but TLD is very different for me as it is mostly about exploring in the freezing cold with natural predators around to keep you on edge.
It's been a few years but I remember some unofficial patches that improved the game for modern times.
Management games where I can play really slowly and focus on small details, normally on very hard mode too so a lot of the easy ones don't make the cut.
Football Manager and Software Inc are probably the ones I go back to most often.
Also 99% of the games I play I never complete...
Challenge accepted.
I really hope we see JSR Future again.
Looks kinda promising but I need to wait for the real reviews.
I'm not going to argue my point any further but I will say, use it all for what you want. Absolute loyalty, which you seem to have, is pointless.
Xbox 360 game played on the Xbox One.
Brothers in Arms games are some of my favourites and Hell's Highway is at the top.
I like the fact they tried to compete with Steam from the begining. I have a large library of games and some real gems that I wouldn't normally look at.
EGS is ok, GOG is ok and also Steam is just ok too for what I want from a store/launcher.
No digital game store is worth your loyalty.
I say it's worth a watch. Also when it comes to movies/tv and books it's best not to compare them too much and just take them for what they are individually.
Actually looks like a nice bit of kit but not for £20.
Great game but OP said they already played it.
Steep is such an under appreciated game. I dont think it sold well so was often dirt cheap but it's a beautiful chill experience.
Have a look at the Fractal Design Pop Silent case, it is matt black with zero LEDs or glass. I have one myself and it's a great looking case.
As for upgrading a workstation it's easily doable but it depends on the size of the case and getting a suitable 75w GPU.
It's easy to get lost in photo mode for hours in GoH trying to get the perfect battle shot.
Taken while playing on the Xbox Series S. Jusant was probably my favourite game in 2023 and I recommend it to everyone.
This was before "experimental sky" was removed from the game but it created beautiful photos.

High quality digital archive of various video game magazines. A true nostalgia hit!
The Rest Is Entertainment pulls back the curtain on television, movies, journalism and more with Richard Osman and Marina Hyde using their years of knowledge, enviable contact book and wit to bring you what’s hot, and what’s not in the world of entertainment.
Just a recommendation for television, film and more in a podcast.
It's becoming one of my favourites to listen to and the Q&A episodes are very interesting.
It is also on YouTube but I prefer the audio form.
Is there such a card?
I've owned my XFX RX 6600 for about 2 years now and it's a great card but making the step to 1440p has limits. In my opinion PC gaming is in an almost ridiculous place ATM with prices and marketing so...
Also thanks for any help and please explain why you suggest a certain GPU. New or used doesn't matter.

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the release of Half-Life we reunited the original development team to share their memories of creating Valve's first game.
Earlier this year I decided to re-home and give away my main setup (180L) and focus on this little shrimp tank. It was previously used as a quarantine tank (approx 20L) but now is home to about 30 to 40 cherry shrimp (up from 15ish when I started).
