Restrict apps to a whitelist, managed remotely
  • By the way, installing Adguard (or something similar to cut out ads device-wise) helps to decrease the shit they are trying to install dramatically. Highly recommend. Family link works for me so far, though the kids are a bit younger.

John Anderson: Former Gladiators referee dies aged 92
  • They just started filming the second season of the revived show, had some nice family time in Sheffield for day 1 of shooting. The kids were happy! Viper is deliberately nasty, got all the boos from the audience. Ok, can agree partially, you can feel that he is acting, not living it. The rest of the gladiators were really nice to contenders. When one got an injury, the gladiator who did it (unintentionally) was really kind and respectful. Overall, would not really recommend going to the live show, it is much better to watch it on tv rather than have to spend the whole day (it took almost 10 hours all in all). The orgs are doing a decent job though with all the interactive stuff in-between the actual contests, so could be worth it for big fans.

  • You may want to reevaluate your views. For the price there always were much better sounding options. Their main selling point is supposed to be convenience, but with all the software glitches it does not seem like they have it anymore.

Suella Braverman says 'idiotic strategy' led Conservatives to worst-ever election defeat
  • Libdem lady elected in my constituency literally had it on her leaflets - vote tactically for me to punish tories. And she won on that basis. Hope she will prove herself, lets see, but I agree with your assessment.

  • Have to disagree with your take. A pair of Bathys i use on the commute are audiophile all right. May not be too budget, but that is subjective. The AKGs k371bt i ran before did produce some positive vibes as well, and these were certainly a budget pair.

Can you get a better sound for less money with wired IEMs? Certainly. But you do lose the comfort of no wires. Sacrifices must be made...

Tesla pushes for $56bn pay deal for Elon Musk
  • Mostly agree, but. As far as I understand it, for TSLA the majority of the bull run is due to relatively small investors riding the hype. Big stakes are indeed rare to change hands, and mostly outside the marketplaces. Should the small guys really change their mind on the stocks, they (or at least the first wave) will easily dump it, and that will move the market by a lot. We can probably see it in YTD results, but still there is no dumping, in my opinion. Just a correction, so far.
Personally would not buy now, though )

  • It may not be too bad for users: a lot of people are simply always logged on, so they'll not see any difference. What is the current share of Chrome?

  • Nah, they do not actually live there, they are just browsing every night, shit on my lawn and throw around rubbish if they manage to open the bin. So I do need a tripwire or two. Too bad neighbours' cats are also on a prowl, that is the only thing that limits my demolition urges!

  • Well, there is some sense in that. Mining/construction would require special licensing as well for it, and that would be fun to watch a miner or builder using frags to demolish something. )

Silencer is the same to me, as you rightly point out: this is never a self-defence device, there is no conceivable use for one if you are not a certain Bond, J Bond. Who also had a rather specific license!
