I‘m genuinely wondering what took them 10 years.
That‘s not even all. The process now is something like:
Search on Google: no answer -> search on Google with Reddit.com appended: no answer -> search on Google with Reddit and Discord Server appended: click through 3 expired invitation links -> finally find a working one: scroll through pages and pages of memes and rule34 content to find the answer you wanted
I want my searchable forums and bulletin boards back ffs.
Discord is pretty much the worst thing that happened to readily available information on the internet (when it comes to games and tech in general at least). No, I don’t wanna join your very specific niche server and use a search function worse than any forum back in the days had in hope to find the information I want.
Also Google got way worse, but that‘s no secret.
I‘m all for a return to a more 3D look and feel, skeuomorphism etc. But those just look… off.
What‘s wrong with the coloring? My feet look like this xD
Swappable as in “let’s just put a spare battery in so my phone is at 100% again and I can continue doing whatever” (like with cameras for example)
Replaceable as in “my phone only lasts 2 hours instead of a day because after 3 years the battery has degraded, time to replace it with a new one”
Gaming laptops aren’t really intended to be used on your lap (no place to put and use a mouse), at least not while you’re gaming.
For the cooling to work you need an air intake and exhaust. The intake is most commonly at the bottom because it’s the closest to your CPU which requires fresh and cool air. The exhaust is either at the back or the sides.
Okay but what does that have to do with the picture?
I mean rubber seals and o-rings exist. If I remember correctly the law doesn’t demand easily swappable batteries, but rather them to be replaceable at all. So just use screws to hold the backplate in place, it could even look somewhat cool like on a Royal Oak Watch.
