  • Yah the taxes in NYS (not NYC) are one of the problems I mentioned, but on the other hand I've seen what they paid for. As an Upstate NY resident I have a love/hate relationship with NYC. On one hand it causes a lot of funky laws to be passed at the state level. On the other hand it brings in a FUCK TON of tax revenue that Upstate benefits from

  • Funny, I was thinking the same of the New Yorkers who moved to Texas. I live in New York (not the City) and yah the state has problems, but you couldn't pay me to move to a Southern state...

  • Playing through Monster Hunter: World again! World was my first MH game when it first came out on PS4, and man I struggled. I never cleared >!Alatreon!<* or >!Fatalis!<. I used Insect Glaive. Now years later, with time spent in Generations Ultimate and Rise (fully clearing Rise) and finding a love of the Switch Axe it's fun to see how different World feels now.

  • I did an export/archive of the Git repo from a commit before they got rid of Batoto and Mangadex right after they nuked them (ie, no Git data, just the bare source code) yesterday morning. I'd be willing to share it with someone willing to rehost/restart development on them.
