  • There is some good-bad to it but there's some real bad-bad as well. Overall I do think it is a movie people should watch but not for fun entertainment as much as for historical/cultural information.

Technically it doesn't do anything amazing. As a story it is simplistic and rough. But the some of the acting and character work is good and it does a good job pushing its jingoistic message.

  • Do you have any evidence to suggest it is just a "small minority?" If you see a patch or badge in video or pictures of Ukrainian troops more than half the time it is a fascist symbol and that isn't even counting that azov badges.

A nation doesn't have dozens of statues and name streets after a nazi colaborator and anti-Semitic fascist like stepan bandera without his ideology being popular.

  • Marx explains that money is not an eternal necessity but a historical phenomenon tied to capitalism

Capitalism didn't exist when the first money was made.

I feel like you didn't read any of these books, you got an AI to dig up quotes that can look like they support your idea when taken out of context.

    Bait used to be believable.

  • I wonder how active barfsack ocrumbo was in the ukraine planning. I'm 99% sure biden was hands on directly setting up in ukraine as VP and possibly before. Not to downplay his complicity but I feel like Obummer was just a puppet of the white supremacists imperialist capitalists.

  • Not really. There are people who call themselves feminists that support capitalism but they are pretenders who haven't really understood (or even read) any feminist theory. Like "anarchists" who want to live in mad max world.

"Nobody's free until everybody's free" True liberation ideoligy is infectious. How can you fight for the end of oppression for those born with XX chromosomes and not feel connection to those who are oppressed because they were born with higher melanin production genes? And why should being born to poor parents limit your access to education and job prospects? and why should people who's parents own lots of things, never have to work?

  • Trump is friendly to Putin because Putin says nice things about Trump. Putin says nice things about Trump because Trump is vain and highly susceptible to flattery. (Look how easy it was for elon to brown nose himself into being trump's left hand.)

Trump is impressed by Putin's use of violence and his resolve. Trump would be afraid of Putin if he yelled and made threats. Trump should be scared but because Putin smiles and says flattering things he isn't. Trump thinks he is getting respect from a dangerous person and he thinks that means he must be a dangerous person too.

Putin makes trump feel like a "big man."

Trump hates zelenski because he's a fraud. He acts all tough, talking in his growly voice like he's batman, wearing millitary slacks and looking scrufy but then all he does is beg for help and money. When he isn't begging he's complaining that the help he got isn't enough and it is everyone else's fault.

Zelenski is a grifter. Trump hates that because inside he knows he is a grifter too. Trump isn't the big deal businessman. the savvy politician or the billionaire land tycoon he pretends to be, he's a 78 year old playboy failson who never made anything on his own. And everywhere he looks he is seeing that America is a grift too. He wanted to "Make it Great Again" but the more he looks the more he sees its just layers of kick backs and pay offs papered over and held together with string. Zelenski just reminds him of all that.

  • Being on the opposite side of the issue as Trump is just a really happy coincidence for them. In fact they had basically forgot about how much they stand with ukraine till trump reminded them.

  • I don't condemn objects for the things people do with them. Like knives or TNT or nuclear energy AI can be used to make things better for people or worse. It just depends on who is using it and how.

  • Video games. Like I'm sure in a communist utopia there would still be video games but I'd probably have less free time to game. Maybe not though. As a poor person in the first world I'm not sure where I sit on the scale of redistribution of wealth but I'm guessing its kinda middle of the pack.

  • Australian social media is going crazy. its like 5 posts demanding ukraine "get their nukes back" for every 1 post of "ukraine cant win the war. deal with it."

I don't know what's going on it feels like usaid got their funding back or something.

  • Do any of the 5 eyes country other than the us still have intelligence gathering capabilities worth anything? Pretty sure we all gutted them and started chipping in to pay subcontractors who are all loyal to american dollars. Its also kinda silly to think that after years of trusting america that they wouldn't have a back door and know everything we tried to keep from them anyways.

None of the 5 eyes or nato nations has the independence and sovereignty to direct its own foreign policy differently from the USA. They can moan and complain a little but if that's about it.

  • This whole war happened because donbas demanded the right to self determination. They held referendums to break away from the nazi government in keiv and declared independence. That is when the civil war really kicked off before that it as just sparkling unrest. Russia didn't "invade" ukraine they were invited into the donbas by LPR and DPR governments to uphold their right to self governance.
