  • I completely agree. When I was a kid there was a slide in a playground that had rollers. Someone showed me how to hold onto a bar and run on the rollers. Well I slipped and smashed my face into the rollers losing a front tooth. Many thousands later and I was a kid under to witha root canal and a false tooth. It's still holding strong.

  • I have a friend who is a chef. I've seen him reach into a fryer with bare hands and pull things out. The dude has somehow become immune to heat. This must be the case. You solder so much that you can become the Iron yourself.

    Note: Friend had two prosthetic hands.

  • Very true. Also... -The one who does the job right becomes the go-to person. -Loyalty to a job only benefits the person making the profit. -"We're a family atmosphere" = Stockholm syndrome

    • if you become too good at something the chances of promotion out of that position become smaller
    • You are always replaceable
    • if a coworker quits or is fired don't start doing his job unless you want 2x the work for 1x the pay -No, you don't know how to do IT work
