It shows up at my local grocery store every now and then for the normal price. They still have the tag for it, with all the rest of the knock offs, but it does sell out quick when it comes in. I snagged a bottle a month or so ago, as none of the replacements scratch the same itch and my kids only like the real stuff.
Is this going to be an actual show at some point? They seem to be doing a ton of laying things out and setting things up, and I think it'd be a fun show.
From your list, I really enjoyed I'm in Love with the Villainess, Sacrificial Princess, Magical Revolution, and Buddy Daddies. Zom100, Overtake, and Yuri is My Job were on the decent tier. I didn't watch Pluto or Ooku, so can't comment on those. However, Helk was really the one show that I tried so hard to like, but it just couldn't fully get there. I really enjoyed the beginning few episodes, and even the whole flashback arc that a lot of people despised. But after the flashbacks were over, it seemed like they lost their way and tried to do too much and be too many different things. The whole reason the bad guys did everything didn't make any sense (who is farming or making food or providing services in this kingdom?) but I did appreciate the underlying positive message. Maybe now that they've set everything else up, a S2 would be more consistent. I'll still give it a chance if they make more.
For me, my favorite 10 shows this year are probably (in no particular order)
Heavenly Delusion
Tomo Chan is a Girl
Ruroni Kenshin
Apothecary Diary
The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses
Dark Gathering
100 girlfriends Who Really Love You
Undead Girl Murder Farce
Sacrificial Princess
Hell's Paradise
Frieren is still running, otherwise it'd be on here too. Undead Unluck was a serious contender too. That show is a lot of fun.
Picked up right where S1 ended and hit the ground running. It took me a bit to remember who was who, but glad this one is bad.
I have no idea how Frieren and Apothecary Diaries have fallen. They're so good! Ragna Crimson is ok, but not better than either of those two. JJK chugging along I can see, but I always feel guilty watching it because of all the drama with the attempted NDAs and conditions for the animators.
This is going to be so bad. This is Masters of the Universe for a new generation.
You've contradicted yourself. MotU with Dolph Lundgren was amazing. Was it super accurate to the show, nah, but it was a cool story and Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella made it a blast.
Finally a story focused episode. Seems like most of this season has been filler or side story stuff. Also, having this arc be Yor focused is great, as she has felt a lot like an afterthought for a while
I switched to this a few days ago, and it was working great till last night. Now youtube just comes up to the Ad Blocker Detected message and nothing plays. Edit Nevermind. I just discovered that Firefox had also installed AdBlock for some reason without my knowledge. I removed AdBlock and it works again.
Are they trying to set up the Prince as a foil for Hawke? Going the handsome manly-man vs the nerdy intellectual that can keep up with her?
Still really enjoying this show every week, and excited to see how this current arc ends.
This was a really nice episode. Lady Black really redeemed herself after the terrible showing last time. She really puts the Tsun in Tsundere for sure, but underneath she's got a big and strong heart. I guess you would need to for healing powers. Also the calligraphy part was very neat, and I liked how she had to earn the "Ah ha!" moment.
I have discovered that I really enjoy these historical-type shows. Ruroni Kenshin, Raven of the Inner Palace, Appare-Ranman have all been really enjoyable.
I like how things all make sense, there's not really any suspension of disbelief needed with this show. Maomao is just super bright and skilled, and knows her stuff.
This show is so good. I am glad I gave it a chance, as it's one of my favorites. These past couple of episodes have been bonkers!
I dig the concept, but i think they are written into a corner at some point. He can't keep killing the same stuff, so he has to keep going after bigger and bigger stuff or he dies. What happens when you kill the biggest/baddest monster? "uh oh, i just killed a god. what do i kill now so I don't starve and go on a rampage?"
I think my favorite thing about this show is that they didn't go full "I'm gonna change my ways and be nice to everyone to fix my future" like a lot of shows would. She's still the same selfish character (for the most part) and isn't doing her good deeds out of any sense of altruism. Rather she's trying to help herself, and in the process is righting wrongs that she still is mostly unaware of.
With GirlfriendxGirlfriend S2 running this season, I was prepared to not really like this show. However, this has really become one of my favorites this season. I hope they can keep it up as they introduce more and more girls into the mix. I think he's a madman with 2, and adding a 3rd is really crazy, but the girls all compliment each other so well. Really enjoying this a lot.
We got jebaited - man, they set us up perfectly, and then played a wild card. I'm actually kind of pleased they did this, as I'm interested in seeing where this goes.
Still loving this show. Kind of a down episode, but you need a little break after how intense the last couple were. Plus, I'm assuming the next arc is going to go hard too.
This show is slowly tiptoeing into silly territory for me. Between the improbability of being able to pass twins off as 1 person not only at home but at school and the really weird "love" plot, I'm having a hard time continuing to take this show seriously.
I did appreciate the Shaft-like shot in the library, and the animation when they're dying of laughter never fails to make me laugh either.
This one is still on the fence for me. The fight went about how I thought it would, but I'm interested to see how things move forward from here. Wasn't really a fan of the nurse, so I hope she doesn't show up much in the future. It seems like a lot of these writers (characters) forget that she's a middle schooler. Life in general is just so overwhelming and scary then, and you add being a hero on top of that? Most kids that age really are struggling to figure out who they are and who they want to be, so everyone being so harsh with her is really not fair in my opinion.
A lot better this week. The plot is starting to really unfold. I'm interested to see where they take this story.
