And if someone doesn't want to talk to people that's fine, use the apps. Just don't complain that the apps got shitty. That was the plan from the start. You had to be stupid not to realize that the moment they got rid of competition they will start squeezing everyone hard. The choice was always between talking to people or giving full control to bad actors. People made their choice, now live with it.
What I would do is search for data where the kid is not biological child of both parents. For all the cases I found I would send automated email to both parents saying that if they don't pay me I will reveal this info to their child, post it on their facebook and email all their friends. How many couples do you think found out that there was a mixup in the in vitro clinic or simply that there was some cheating and didn't reveal it to everyone My guess is more than 0.
Or I would email everyone on the list saying that I analysed their data and found that there's 100% probability they are gay/trans/have a small dick. Out of the 7 million, how many would believe it and pay not to have this revealed?
With 7 million users it's more about running scams than getting 'dirt' on the individuals.

Yes, it's not expensive but saying that it's 'one of the easiest tasks a computer can do' is simply wrong. It's not like it's concatenates strings, it's still performing complicated calculations using on of the most advanced AI techniques known today and each query can be 1000x times more expensive than a google search. It's cheap because a lot of things at scale are cheap but pretty much any other publicly available API on the internet is 'easier' than this one.
This is very easy to bypass but I didn't get any training data out of it. It kept repeating the word until I got 'There was an error generating a response' message. No TOS violation message though. Looks like they patched the issue and the TOS message is just for the obvious attempts to extract training data.
Was anyone still able to get it to produce training data?
What? They are not just generating this word in a loop. The model still calculates probability for each repetition, just like for any other query. It's as expensive as other queries which is definitely not free.
There are services where you pay per view/limited time access. If I pay for permanent access and unlimited viewings then I should be refunded when this changes.
If Sony can't guarantee unlimited access they they should sell "one year", "five year" or "whatever they can guarantee" access and charge accordingly. If they don't refund it's a classic bait and switch.
