  • I did actually read the site, of the first 3 blurbs on the site that I read none of them mentioned that feature. Take for example:

Graphite is a free, open source vector and raster graphics editor, available now in alpha. Get creative with a fully nondestructive editing workflow that combines layer-based compositing with node-based generative design.

  • No problem! I just had a worker coop near me go under and they had a lot of trouble contacting old members about equity. So rigorous record keeping is probably one key factor. There is also a really amazing documentary about the grocery consumer coops in the twin cities. I believe it's called Co-op Wars, I think it's on PBS. It documents many of the difficulties of starting coops and there are probably some good lessons to be learned in there. There is also Living the Revolution about housing coops in Madison WI. Also many good community lessons in there. It's only found on youtube as far as I can tell.

  • "tildes are pubnixes in the spirit of tilde.club, which was created in 2014 by paul ford.

member status in the tildeverse mainly involves some level of engagement or presence on irc; all other systems are independent." - from their website.

It seems that the -verse comes from the protocol standard and that they share a common chat channel.

  • I've never had a problem with magic earth, personally. They have a feature that allows users to report road closures, speed cameras, etc... What may be happening is that a user local to your area is falsely reporting things for one reason or another. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a whole lot to do about this. It might be worth contacting the company about it.
