Ah my favorite game series of all time. Loved the games as a kid. Still play through them all a couple times a year when I have nothing else to play.
Funnily enough this was the match I had in mind. Or the 3 or 4 times New Jack tried to straight up kill someone during a match.
I wrestled on the very low end of the indies for a while but I can probably give a little insight. The outcomes are all fixed for all matches. However back in the earlier days (and maybe still today though I have never heard of this happening) one wrestler would sometimes refuse to lose for one reason or another. This would usually result in the match being changed. Though sometimes if it happened during the match things would get more real and could turn into a "shoot" (real) fight. It has always been seen as very selfish and unprofessional and would usually get you banned from that company and potentially even more in the region. As I said this happened more in the earlier days before companies like WWE, AEW and NJPW existed so things were less worldwide and more regional if that makes sense. As far as the damage looking real goes, that is a point of pride for us. We work really hard to make it look as real as possible (yes sometimes it looks laughably fake, but that is us trying to protect each other in the ring). In addition, sometimes the damage actually is real. Injuries happen all the time. Also I would say maybe 80% of the blood you might see in a match is real, from cuts that we do to ourselves on purpose to get blood flowing to make the match look more serious. Typically if the blood is on the outside it is real, if someone is "coughing up blood" it is fake.
Shout out to the devs of this. Absolutely amazing tool that I use for work at least once a week.
Yea a lot of the changes they made kinda killed it for me which is a shame because I absolutely loved the game for the first few months.
I love the idea of Lynx and have used it some, but it just seems like so many sites just don't work with it since it wont load the the JS and tracking junk.
I have never used it so I can't say, though I haven't heard any talk of it not working, do with that what you will.
I've been running Calyx OS on my 4a for around a couple years now. It was a bit of an adjustment at first but now I don't really miss much of anything. I rarely need to use anything from the Aurora store, just mainly FOSS apps as there is a replacement for just about every Google app you could think of. The only thing I have come to miss lately is not being able to use Android Auto, since I just got a car that has that functionality. But that is a slight complaint.
So excited for this, I am hoping we get a full Japanese release instead of dubbed here in the US.
If you already have a DE installed (in your case KDE) you would do something like sudo apt install xfce and then restart (I don't think you actually have to, but I like to reboot after installing a DE). From there you should see a button on your login manager (SDDM for KDE I think?) That lets you pick the DE for the session. Usually looks like a drop down menu.
Love to see it. I have been playing with the modded launcher and it has been great. Probably my favorite multiplayer FPS.
Crazy that nobody seems to have used it in a long time. I use it at least once a week.
Permanently Deleted
I actually own it. I will admit though that it seemed pretty overwhelming and I never gave it a full try. I really should though.
I am all in on the Jar Jar sith theory. Specifically I think Lucas set him up to be Darth Plagueis, but saw the backlash to the character and came up with something else. It just seems to much a lot of sense, especially when you look at things Jar Jar does in EP 1 that look suspicious and had to be deliberately animated. I really thing there is something to the theory, as crazy as it sounds.
Absolutely love this tool! Much love to the devs. It has made my professional work way more effecient. I have a ventoy drive on my keychain with a bunch of helpful distros and rarely need to use anything else.
Just curious, what do you use instead of Clonezilla? Not using it for a couple decades is shocking to me since I use it at least every couple of months.
Ah EVE. The game that I always think I would absolutely love, but everytime I give it a go I end up not knowing what to do and then loosing whatever new ship I just bought.
Don't know about natively, but I have gotten OSRS and WoW to run on different distros at different times. I haven't tried any recently though. Should try to see if I can get SWTOR to run since I am playing it so much right now. I know there was an MMORPG made for Linux, but from what I can recall it was not very good and is pretty dead. Unfortunately I can't recall the name at the moment.
