  • I don’t exactly believe in spirits. But… when I was 10 I had a friend over while our parents went out. I ran upstairs to grab something out of my room. There was a woman sitting on the living room couch in full Victorian dress. I assumed someone was checking on us so I approaches her. Then I noticed she was slightly glowing and partially transparent. Then she looked up and I bolted. She was looking at a Victorian-era picture book. Maybe another dimension leaking through? No idea. We also had a poltergeist that would call out our names, mess with TVs and radios, etc. That went on for about 10 years until one day I demanded they stop.

  • Yeah. So medical writers have it really rough. I was making $100k+ last year. I just exhausted unemployment. The problem is that you can feed AI a list of approved claims and basically feed it a ton of examples and it gets 85% of the way there. Of course it’s ripping off our work to do that, but cash is king. I haven’t checked in a bit, but website traffic was down 90%. So, they essentially lost millions to save $100k.

  • It was indeed a terrifying journey. Always had a bit of anxiety, but never shaking uncontrollably because of it. Prior to the disorder I traveled the world and had no anxiety being on TV or interviewing celebrities.

I used (and still use) the supplement. Spent a week on PubMed researching articles. Basically if you’re on an SSRI or have blood pressure issues it’s a no-go. Lion’s mane helps rebuild neural connections in the hippocampus, which is the most-overlooked aspect of regulating anxiety and it’s only been the past few years where it is better understood. At one point I couldn’t go further than down the street and Excedrin would be too much caffeine and give me a panic attack. Now I can have as much coffee as I want and drive wherever.
