Apple’s keyboard, trackpad, and mouse still have Lightning ports
  • The MX Master 3 is hands down the best mouse on the market. I have a Windows laptop for work, and a MacBook for personal use and I can just flip between them so easily.

What single item improved the quality of your life over you got it? (Buyed it/got as present/made it)
  • Going off this, as someone who lives in a cold weather city, a really good winter jacket and snow boots.

I know they’re ridiculously expensive, but I have a Canada Goose parka and it’s so warm that I don’t even need to zip the front unless it’s in the single digits. It truly makes going outside in the winter a decent experience rather than me hating every second of being outdoors.

For boots, I have some classic LL Bean duck boots with the liner. They’re so comfortable and they perform exceptionally well in the snow and ice.

Non Americans, what province is the "Alabama" of your country?
  • Speaking only on the incest stereotype, Spanish Wells in the Bahamas. They’re known for strictly dating and marrying other fellow islanders, which at this point is basically one large family.

Edit to remove the double “at this point”

Dry Herb Vaping vs Bong hits
  • There are vaporizers that you can connect into a bong and get the best of both. But for a single device, a Volcano is the vape equivalent of a bong rip. The sensation and flavor are different but, to me, it feels cleaner than smoking out of a bong.

What is your "inexpensive" hobby that turned out to be expensive/ you gradually invested lots of money into?
  • Oh boy, I’m not the worst but I’m pretty bad when it comes to “rabbit holes”

Vinyl records and hifi audio, photography (especially film), mechanical keyboards, cigars, old german cars. I just recently got into music production and modular synthesis. Someone needs to stop me.

What are some YouTube channels which follow pre-monetisation ethos?
  • Project Farm is probably the foremost tool/gear testing and review channel. No sponsors, he always buys what he tests with his own money, and all of the testing ideas come from the community. This dude is one of the hardest working content creators and makes great videos that serve a valuable purpose.

  • Space Case, look no further. My friend swore by his SC shredder but I think that Space Cases are the perfect mix of form and function.

  • I also love how Shazam automatically updates my list to an Apple Music playlist, so I just have a running list of good music that I’ve heard over the years. It’s fun to shuffle it and remember where and when I heard certain songs from years ago.

  • I just had Grandma's Pizza from Clay & Fire last night and my god, it's one of the best pies I've ever had. I'd put it up there with Extra Virgin and Pizza 51.
