Twitch has tightened its rules around broadcasts that include debates about "political" and "sensitive social issues".
> In a statement, Twitch said that whilst it is a place "for people to express themselves and discuss the world around them", from now on, any stream that includes discussions about war, religion, or "reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, or immigration" needs to be labelled.

I really like the interface of Namida for local play https://github.com/namidaco/namida
Three monitor setup?
What do you mean by dumb then? You can't get any other apps on it, and the smartest thing in it is a browser. I wouldn't really know though, I wasn't old enough to have a phone when flip phone were popular.
My sibling has this and it's a fine device. TCL Flip 2
This is an amazing comment! TIL, sciencey comments like these are what I most miss from reddit.
Put a bowl out but in the bowl just have a sign that says "please knock"
Sorry I just looked into it and Bazzite actually comes with KDE. I was thinking of another distro by the same organisation.
Bazzite is based on Fedora, so the support base for using it would be large.
Edit: the Plasma version of Bazzite is called Aurora if I remember correctly.
Fedora itself also has a KDE Spin which I've been using for about two years, so I can recommend that as an easy option as well. I personally ran both Kubuntu and Neon (both Ubuntu based) but had major hardware compatibility issues with both so I can't personally recommend either. I've heard they're generally good though.
Yeah and every file type opening in edge for some reason? Annoying.
On my old computer whenever I would launch my computer, the desktop icons would be randomly strewn around the desktop. I had to get a utility app that I would run manually every time my computer started in order to fix it.
I don't think this is walled-garden behaviour. No one's stopping you from just using the same user info for every server you join, with no consequences to doing so. You don't need an email and data doesn't sync anyways, so there is no need.
https://cobalt.tools is a great downloader for a lot of different sites. If you do want a desktop app, I would also recommend Parabolic.

These preview images are always really nice
As well as all my important stuff in /home, can I transfer over the operating system as well as everything in the root partition? What about the Windows Partition? Thanks in advance.

Tanger's latest music video is an example of some of the best kinetic typography and overall motion graphics I've seen. While most motion graphics sequences are under a minute long, this is over three times that length, making it an impressive effort overall.
My laptop is running out of storage space and I don't have anything I can remove anymore to increase it by much, so I'm thinking about building a pc. I'd also like to find a better gpu for doing video editing.
It will be the first one I've built, so I don't really know what I need. Also, does it matter for compatibility for Linux whether I go with AMD or Intel?
The high end of what I want to use it for is video editing with Kdenlive or Davinci Resolve, some modeling and animation in Blender, and some light gaming, like Minecraft or TUNIC.
I figure one of these guides might be useful, but I don't really know which.
Is there anything else I should know for setting up a PC to run Linux?
Edit: Maybe these guides from Logical Increments can help actually.
